I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a creative arts concentration. While obtaining my degree, I interned at The Science Zone in Casper Wyoming, bringing field trips to schools. Also, while in school, I volunteered for three years teaching to 4th graders as part of a university program. I was president of the National Science Teacher Association chapter at the University of Wyoming at Casper and helped coordinate various science events, like a “Science Halloween.” I’m looking forward to sharing a communal interest in science with young learners. Life is all about experiences, and I’m eager to see what kind of growth and learning can take place in an environment where kids internally and intrinsically want to be there. I am very excited to become part of the Basin community and already feel welcomed. I have a 5-year-old son, Emerson, and three fish named Whiskers, Vegan, and Ace of Spades.
I encourage parents and guardians of each and every student to come introduce yourselves to me, as I am eager to begin this year with strong relationship building
